Friendly Reminder
Thursday, May 22nd, 2008This is just a friendly reminder of the upcoming assignment for Wednesday. If you would like to see an example of an annotated bibliography click on the link below. For an annotated bibliography, it is a work cited page in MLA format followed by 2-3 sentences describing the sources.
Also, here’s a link for a reputable website that can help you in your research – you can thank Vigen later! If there is a website that you would like to share with the class or a source that you think that can help everyone, let me know and I’ll post it!
A few of you have asked whether you can discuss various environmental issues plaguing your selected country. For the most part, there should only be one major focus in your paper because if you include all the problems you could write a whole book! If you would like to mention 1 other issue you can HOWEVER there needs to be one major focus in your research. You need to relate subtopic to the major environmental issue of your country.
Keep up with the research, don’t forget that you have public libraries and the school library as resources. And for those that have attended LACC in the past can still have access to their databases. Remember, you want to try your best to look for academic journals. When you find an article look for its bibliography, it will have good sources.
